The World’s First Remote 5G Music Collaboration with T-Mobile Netherlands
We collaborated with T-Mobile Netherlands and Tangible XR to create a demo showcasing a software and hardware solution we developed. This demo enabled three remote musicians to perform together in real-time using 5G connectivity—a feat previously achievable only with stable fiber connections.

MWC Barcelona 2023
At MWC Barcelona, as part of Open Sesame Media, we co-created the world’s first “Music over MEC - Cross Operator Jam Session”, highlighting the transformative role 5G and Edge Compute will play in music collaboration.
This experience featured SyncStage™, powered by AWS, Rogers, Verizon, and Vodafone, and included a live musical performance by Carl Verheyen, one of Guitar Magazine’s "Top 10 Guitarists in the World."
The move2edge team was responsible for heading the technical planning and testing as well as overseeing the final production from the technical side.

AWS re:Invent 2023
At AWS re:Invent, in collaboration with Verizon and AWS, as part of Open Sesame Media, we showcased a real-time remote music collaboration demo. Using 5G, AWS Wavelength, and Verizon’s QoS API, musicians from Los Angeles and Las Vegas performed together live via Open Sesame’s SyncStage ultra-low-latency audio solution.
Attendees experienced the power of this technology in action as songwriters and musicians collaborated across cities during a live jam session.

MusicBiz 2024
At MusicBiz 2024, Open Sesame collaborated with renowned audio engineers who have worked with artists like Tom Morello and Sheryl Crow. In this demo, SyncStage Sessions Nashville, musicians in two different studios in Nashville worked with engineers in Hoboken, New Jersey, to record a live song using 5G technology. As part of Open Sesame, the move2edge team was responsible for heading the technical preparations and tests as well as overseeing the production from the technical side.
